Hi My 12 year old daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia on Feb 5. She has been on an antibiotic since then. She has a history of asthma but otherwise healthy and recovering well. Today she has become very lethargic, terrible headache, no fever. do I need to worry or take her to the pediatrician.... or just treat symptoms.

How Can Severe Fatigue And Headache Be Treated?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Hypoglycemia and blood pressure fluctuations can lead headache as well. So investigate with serum random blood sugar and blood pressure should be measured. If common cold present than also it can lead headache. If any dental problem present than also headache can occur. Lack of sleep, excess stress, anxiety, fasting also can lead headache. Paracetamol can be prescribed for that. Take care. Hope this will help you. If headache continue than Consult pediatrician for examination.
