How Can Severe Headache Due To A Concussion Be Treated?

I pray, my 36 old son had a skate board accident on Tues. 2/7 resulting in a concussion and was unconsious . he was released on 2/9 and was given a prescription for nausea and pain medicine. He is still in extreme head pain and I don t know what to do for him. Trying to see his family doctor today if he can see him. Please help this hysterical mother.

It is difficult to watch our children in pain, any mother would be hysterical.

If his current pain regimen is not working then he needs to be on alternative stronger medication. IN addition, he may need a repeat scan to be done as well if the pain is still severe.
This repeat scan is to make sure that there are no changes.

Other than medication and rest, there is little that can be done.
