How Can Severe Insomnia In A Menopausal Female Be Managed?

Hi I am a 50 year old female. Been going through menopause a year. Seen my gyno doctor. All is well there. What bothers me is I cant sleep. Noticed about 3 months ago I wasn t sleeping well. Sometimes due to my nack. But I got at least 5 hours sleep. Its now going on 5 weeks, I am getting no more than 4 hours in a 24 hours. I can asleep. I cant stay asleep. and I do dream, what is odd when I wake its like with a sudden awakening like I was in one reality of dreaming and now back to awake. its scary. I cant believe I am even able to type
