How Can Severe Leg Pain, Due To Past Degenerative Joint Disease, Be Treated?

Both of my legs are becoming so weak and pain that I can only walk about 15 steps before I m in so much pain I have to sit down. I have fibromyalgia , degenerative joint disease, goal hip replacement three years ago. And this has come on so fast. I m dropping almost everything I pick up.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are different conditions that can be playing a role in your weakness and pain. Your fibromyalgia and degenerative joint disease would both play a role.

It would be best, however, though you have other conditions, to rule out alternative causes first.

This would require an assessment from your doctor which should include a physical examination and blood tests (complete blood count- to check for anemia and infection, ESR- checks for inflammation and other autoimmune diseases)

I hope this helps
