How Can Severe Pain After Gallbladder Removal Be Treated?
My son is14 yrs old he had his gallbladder removed 1 yr ago, no stones. Since then he has daily pain sometimes it s really bad. He goes to a pediatric gastrointestinal Dr they insist it s IB , he has had upper and lower to scopes that say no only acid reflux all symptoms point to sphincter of oddi disfuction, in my opinion. Do you think this medication will help?
I doubt that pain is due to post operative scaring or else.
A CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis is must for further guidance Primary relief with PPI, anti spasmodic medications. Dietary precautions have to be followed as per the doctor`s advise.
Hope I have answered your query.
