How Can Severe Pain And Swelling In The Lower Leg Be Treated?

Hi. I was delivering meals today when I twisted my knee a little. It wasn t much but hurt suddenly and felt like it would make me go down. It is still hurting, but my entire lower leg is also in pain and swollen and the front of my shin is warm to the touch.

Hello,

Please follow the below advice:

1. You have to rest as much as possible
2. Apply ice packs on the limb
3. Tie an elastic band on it
4. Take any over-the-counter anti-inflammatory drugs for pain
5. Keep limb elevated to reduce edema
