How Can Severe Pain Due To Lumbar Disc Herniation Be Treated?
I have 2 herniated discs in my lumbar spin. The pain is intermittant to wher If I don t bend or lift anything I can go without pain for awhile.My doctor mentioned Physical therapy. I have had all kinds of PT for differtnt problems and understand stretching exercises are best for this.Do you have any papers that show these exercises and how can I get them so I can start doing them. Thank you

Physical therapy consists of stretching exercises chosen according to the injury and symptoms. Therefore, it is risky to advice on line. Local examination is must before consulting.
I would advise for an advice of expert physiotherapist, learn doing them under his expert guidance and then keep on practicing at home.
