How Can Severe Pain In The Ankles And Feet Be Treated?

hello, I was playing soccer 2 days ago and I thought I rolled my ankle but the pain is more where my muscles and tendons are, I get shooting pains throughout my foot and around the tissue and tendons where my ankle is and on the top of my foot. I also have shooting pains in my leg. I haven t got any sleep because it would hurt, so I would take Advil to help with shooting pains but every time I moved my foot while I was sleeping the pain would wake me up. Thank you for your time

Hello welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

Your symptoms suggestive of muscle or tendon injury. Local part digital x ray is advisable to exclude fracture.Avoid strenous activities. You can be prescribed non steroid antinflammatory drug like Naproxen or brufen for symptomatic relief. I suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for examination.
