How Can Severe Pain In The Hands, Neck And Left Hip Be Treated?

I have serious life changing degeneration of the spine, my hands, neck and left hip are also extremely sore. The very bottom of my spine feels weak I was told 20yrs ago surgery wasn t ever an option it would only be pain management. I do check every 5yrs with neurologists but still the answer is the same. The pain is making me think and plan for the end I take zomorph orimorph and gabapentin excuse spelling can you suggest anything other than putting me out of my misery. Due to this illness I can t even afford answer. Same old shitty world. Kelly Mcgillvary

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

As per my clinical experience, the current agony of symptoms narrates possible systemic alterations with calcium, magnesium, phosphorus zinc or other hormones of the body.

Need systemic work up to find out the possible cause of degeneration to fix the issue more precisely.

Rest care with assisted physio, steroid hormones, calcium supplements, adequate protein, vitamins will support nicely.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
