Hi My husband had a back fusion about 5 years ago...the pain has got worse every year and its been something different every year. L4-L5 L5-S1 are fused. Hes complaining of horrible hip pain....I think after some research that it could be the S1 joint....any ideas?
It looks like a severe nerve compression on lumbar region. Due to fusion and nerve compression, surgery is mandatory I'm afraid. You must counsel with a neurosurgeon.
Hope your husband recover soon
