How Can Severe Pain In The Knees And Elbows Be Treated?
My son is 52 yrs. old and in the last 6 months has started experiencing severe pain and coldness in his knees and elbows. Right now he is wrapped up in toboggan and sweat pants because he is so cold. he is already on pain pills because of shoulder problems that are being addressed by his Dr. What causes this coldness in the knees and what should he do? Please???? Thank you.

Sounds like early signs of osteoarthritis. An x-ray of the joints and some blood tests may be needed prior to treatment. Meanwhile, warm compressors with pain killers will help with the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
