Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have stenosis in lower back and have been going through physical therapy for some extreme pain lately. However, I also feel like there s something wrong on my right side in the pelvic area. I no longer have a uterus or ovaries (still have cervix), so not sure if there s anything left down there to cause me pain! Any thoughts on what it might be or maybe it s just referred pain from the back pain...?
I understand your concern and would explain that every abdominal organ may lead to irradiated pain in this region. For this reason, I recommend performing an abdominal ultrasound and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, kidney, and liver function tests). You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
