I have chronic neck pain. Have tried everything including physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, prescriptions. Thoracic MRI showed that I have damage enough to have surgery, but until it s excruciating pain I m holding off. Do you have a suggestion as to what could help in the interim ? I.e. heat or cold/ice? I m told I show symptoms of whip-lash......

How Can Severe Pain In The Neck Be Treated?
Hi, As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Tramadol for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
