How Can Severe Pain In The Right Knee Be Treated?

I have pain on my right knee. The pain is located on the front of the knee and feels similiar to kneeling on sand. The pain is elevated when kneeling or by touch. This symptom has been going on for about 2-weeks and is increasing. My pain level is a six out of ten.
