How Can Severe Pain In The Shoulder And Ankle Be Treated?
I had chicken gunia on 5 Jan my platlets count ranged around 110000 and increased to 0000. I had stiffness in my joints and extreme weakness after initial recovery I rejoined my work and my regular gym. I then suddenly had pain in my right ankle and left shoulders. Pain in ankle became comfortable after one week but shoulder pain increased and is becoming unbearable. It is pulsating pain. No comfort with pain killers. I checked my Uric Acid it was 8.2 . On doctor advice I am taking zyloric 100mg OD and ultra set for pain. Still no relief. Please advise
It takes time to recover after a bout of chikungunya. Moreover your uric acid levels are high which may be causing you pain. Continue taking the tab. zyloric and avoid meat products. You can take Tab. Naproxen to relieve pain. You also take physiotherapy to relieve pain and stiffness.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
