How Can Severe Pain In The Upper Left Thigh Be Treated?
My fiancé is having severe pain in his upper left thigh. Occasionally he will have discomfort left side chest also. He has seen a cardiologist and they said his heart was fine. His left thigh pain has been going on for about 2 weeks now and it s gotten severe. You can see his veins popped out in his left leg only. What can we do for the pain?

Hi,
It could be due to the varicose vein. Another possibility is neuropathic causes like sciatica.
As a first step, he can try analgesics like Gabapentin for pain relief.
If pain persists better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
An MRI scan may be needed for further assessment.
