How Can Severe Sciatic Pain Be Treated?
I have been in pain Mgmt for 10 years for a ruptured disc. The pain Mgmt Dr. wants me to have the muscle cut away from the sciatic nerve, so the pain will leave from my top left leg all the way to my toes. Constant pain. I have nerve burns and injections on a regular basis. I have never heard of this surgery and I m putting it off until I can research it more. I am currently on pain meds and muscle relaxers for the sciatica pain.

If you are suffering from ruptured disc then that disc need to be either removed or repaired not the muscle. So I would advise you to take opinion of another specialist orthopaedic surgeon before deciding about surgery.
