How Can Severe Sleep Apnea Be Treated?

Hello, I went to donate blood two days ago, but to my surprise they told me my hematocrit was 61 and hemoglobin was 20. It was done on the finger machine. I donated whole blood but this morning I decided to get blood work to double check. Problem is I won t get labs back until Monday or Tuesday. Should I just go to the hospital in the morning? ? I believe I ve developed bad sleep apnea

Hello,

Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.

Having high HB and hematicrit doesnt tell u have sleep apnoea I would suggest you to wait for labs as it is not an emergency situation even if you have what you think , you can then cintact your doctor regarding the reports and possible cause.

I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.

Regards.

Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
