How Can Severe Tremors In The Hands Be Treated?

My son has been having some really bad tremors of the hands, arms which make it very hard to hold anything and also bothers his balance. He has had multiple test and nobody can figure out anything. We came across the name of a medicine called Tremidone. Would you recommend this to try?

1. essential tremor can be a very challenging and disabling condition affecting the quality of life and ADL [activities of daily living] and since multiple tests have been carried out thus it will be wise to consult a Neurosurgeon for deep brain stimulation or Thalamotomy.

2.Tremadone is a herbal supplement containing valerian root and since no major side effect is listed online one has to keep in mind the following adverse drug effect of the same: headache, upset stomach,dry mouth, confusion.

PS. other supplement in the drug are: folic acid,vitamin B12,Vit B2 and riboflavin, and GABA so one should take it twice daily. [after meals]
