How Can Shingles Nerve Pain Be Treated?

Hello, my name is Randy, my dad is 86 yrs old and has the shingles pain still after dealing with this issue 2 yrs ago. It has effected his eye sight to the point that he can only see the shadow of people. He has said that his quality of life has come to an end. He wants to give up. Is there anything out there that will help him?

I can understand your concern.
Shingles cause hypersensitive nerves.
And so routine painkillers won't work.
Pregabalin or gabapentin are specific drugs for such nerve pains.
So try any of pregabalin or gabapentin in your father and see if it reduces his pain.
Ice pack application is also beneficial.
