How Can Shortness Of Breath Due To Lung Cancer Be Cured?

Hi im zarina. My father had been diagnosed having lung cancer stage 3. He cannot be operated as doctor says he is having weak lung. He is having shortness of breath which got worst soon after midnight. How can i help him to overcome it? So far no treatment had been given yet.
