How Can Shoulder Pain After A Rotator Cuff Surgery Be Treated?
had previous surgery on left shoulder for rotor cuff tear twice. shoulder very painful again. xray report says arthritic changes in humeral head. Arthritic changes in the acromion clavicular joint. elevation of the humeral head in relation to the glenoid indicative of chronic rotator cuff disease. what is a solution to this. Do I use massage therapy or injections of steroids or is there another solution to ease the pain. had two surgeries on the same shoulder
Are you duabetic?? hypertensive?? since when you're suffering from this condition? initial treatment of a rotator cuff injury begins with rest, ice, and physical therapy to strengthen the muscles of the rotator cuff and to re-establish full range of motion of the shoulder. It may take weeks or longer to reach satisfactory healing.
Steroid injections to decrease inflammation in the tight spaces where the muscle tendons run across the shoulder joint, therapeutic ultrasound, shockwave therapy, dry needling and shoulder sling etc.Still symptoms not improved may need to undergo surgery.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
