How Can Side Effects Of Anastrozole Be Dealt With?
I have tried femura and aromasin for my breast cancer treatment. I was stage one IDC, Surgery removed the tumor and a few lymph nodes. I had 5 weeks of radiation, no chemo, The first two meds I tried gave me constant UTI s. Now I m taking Anastrozole (1mg), but it makes me very tired, nauseous and gives me cotton mouth. The first few doses I took in the morning so I thought I d take it at bedtime. No, even though I m taking ambien for sleep, it doesn t always work to get me to sleep. What can I do?

Most people get used to anastrozole after a couple of weeks and then it is one of the easiest drugs to tolerate. I hope the same in your case too. For sleep, you can try some sleep inducers.
