Hello! Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Yours is a typical case of chronic sinusitis with frequent upper respiratory infections to those who approach me with similar symptoms, based on the chronicity, severity, treatment regimen previously used, I suggest the following :

1) Initially, infection if any needs to be treated with a course of antibiotics like Amoxicillin plus Clavalanic acid thrice daily for 5 days or any cephalosporins.
2) Over usage of nasal decongestants is not recommended.
3) Steam inhalation would relieve congestion to some extent.
4) Please make sure that you don't have any anatomical defects like deviated nasal septum, nasal spur etc that are the precipitating factors for sinusitis.
5) The best treatment modality for chronic sinusitis would be FESS(functional endoscopic sinus surgery). Outcome is very good and recurrence rates are very low. You can get rid of all your symptoms at once and can improve the quality of life.

Hope my answer is clear. You can discuss the same with an ENT expert and decide. Any further queries, please do let me know. It's my pleasure to be of any help to you. Thank you for the queries.

Take care

Regards,
