How Can Sinusitis Along With Stomach Upset Be Treated?

I got the flu and Pneumonia shot on Monday. I also have a sinus infection and just started taking SULFAMETHOXAZOLE 800/trimeth160MG today. My stomach is a little upset and foods don t taste good. Am I in trouble and can I take a valium to relax. I m 79 and in good health. I take NO meds. at all only herbs and vitamins. Do I have a bad problem? What can I do to feel better?

THE upset stomach you are experiencing is due to antibiotics. You can take Pantoprazole 40 mg in morning to relieve upset stomach. Also, eat frequent small meals. Include diet rich in probiotics loke Yogurt. It is better to avoid taking Valium regularly as it can cause tolerance and addiction.
