How Can Sinusitis And Cough Be Treated?

sINCE dECEMBER 26TH, i HAVE BEEN FIGHTING A BAD SINUS INFECTION TYPE WITH COUGH AND STUFFY HEAD. nO FEVER. mY pcp CALLED IN aUGMENTIN FOR ME, BUT i AM A CANCER PQATIENT WITH HIGH INCIDENCE OF c DIFF REACTION SO CAN ONLY TAKE mACROBID FOR MOST EVERYTHING. Will this help and how much should I take? I am on a daily dose of 100 mg. due to immune deficient bacterial UTI issues stemming from the bone marrow transplant I had 54 weeks ago. Can you help? No one has time to see me at this point.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For sinusitis Augmentin is good antibiotic as it cover gram positive cocci as well. Azithromycin also can be effective. X-ray has to be done to check sinusitis. Check your CBC and urine routine microscopic examination.
