How Can Sinusitis And Throat Infection Be Treated?

Hi can i ask you a question one week back tge dr gave me zinnat for 10 days for sinnus infection i took 5 days twice a day i didnt continue 10 days now i have thraot inf3ction can i take zinnat again to continue 5 days left or i have to change antbiotic

hello,

i can understand your concern. since your infection i would suggest you not to again resume zinnat(cefuroxime) for now. Get a throat swab culture and sensitivity done. By this we will be able to know the antibiotic that would be useful in your case.
Meanwhile do warm water gargles at regular intervals. Avoid cold water and icecreams. take steam inhalations at regular intervals.
