How Can Sinusitis Be Treated?

My mom is 87 and has a sinus infection and has tried to take antibiotics, which all seem to make her sick! Is there anything she can take that might help besides antibiotics? She gets really weak all the time! She takes Tramadol & low dose aspirin is all! Thank you, Cathi

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I suggest you to continue the antibiotics for treatment.

Some other advice that I can give are:
- use saline nasal sprays
- use a humidifier at home
- use anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
