How Can Skin Burn On The Hands Be Treated?

my 12 year old daughter got a burn on her hand her palm and fingers (from touching a burner which was still hot. She first put it under water then put raw potatoes then cooling cream. I wrapped her hand in a gauze pad. Her hand looks much better although it is still painful and It seems to be a little swollen. Please advise

Hello,

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid ointment like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
