How Can Skin Crack In Corner Of The Mouth Be Treated?

I have a crack on right side of my mouth and I have dry chapped lips due to ( i think) the redness around my lips. it looks like I have a dark lip liner on. it started itching a little yesterday. I have had this since about february. I tried to cure it myself. I have tried vasoline, neosporin, tons of chapsticks, carmex, aquaphor. I went to reg. doctors yesterday , he has no idea, but gave me methyiprednisolone tablets. He said don t follow the dirctions take all 6 at once, then next day take all 5 at once, and so on till gone. also gave me a topical cream called fluticasone propionate. he said it should go away ! MY LIPS ARE SO DRY AND AROUND THEM ARE VERY IRRITATED !! I didn t want to drive all the way to the dermatoligists over 40 mins away. PLEASE HELP WITH ANY IDEAS !!!! Thank you.

Hi, I think you are having some vitamin deficiency. Take some multivitamin supplements. It will resolve. Check out your hemoglobin level. It can be due to anemia also.
