How Can Skin Infection In The Groin Area Be Treated?

I am a bit confused as to what I really have, my doctor implied that my rash was ring worm/ jock itch. I guess I should ask him, but except for right now, it is not easy asking the doctor any thing. Whatever the cream previously prescribed and this powder seem to be working. What say you?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Basic management guidelines for your skin infection :

Local care by part cleaning with antiseptic liquid, keeping dry with dusting powder, wear loose and clean, cotton inner wears, avoid itching, and watch for redness, discharges if any.

Systemic care with the necessary antibiotic, anti-fungal, and anti-histamine medicines prescribed by your doctor. Consume a highly nutritious diet to recover faster.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel
