How Can Sleeplessness Be Managed After Two Inter-body Fusions At L4/5 And L5/S1?

I was just released from the hospital after two interbody fusions at L4/5 L5/S1 DOS was 5/19 discharged 5/23. I m not in any pain therefore no pain medication, not even OTC medication. My question is I m having trouble falling asleep and my neuro suggested Benadryl, 50mg one half hour before bedtime. Benadryl doesn t do the trick and I really don t want to take Ambien. Any suggestions? Thanks Rocky P

Hi,

You can take Zolpidem which is newer and quite effective pill. It has got very minimal side effects.

You can try Zolfresh which is a popular brand.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
