Hello sir I am type 1 diabetic from last 18 years my hba1c is last checked was 6.5 seems my diabetes is under control no issue regarding my energy and any thing else but 2 years ago I was diagnosed with sibo , I am unable to eradicate it taking rifagut 550 and vsl 3 for a long time whenever I stop taking these med relapse occur ,please help me regarding this .

Hi,

You can start on a short course of Metrogyl (Flagyl) for five to seven days. Dietary modifications can also help control symptoms. Eat a balanced, nutritious diet rich in fibers. Eat smaller meals more frequently to avoid having too much food sitting in your stomach.

If symptoms are severe better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
