How Can Sore Throat Along With Cough And Sneezing Be Treated?
I recently had an upper endoscopy on Thursday 02/22/2018 and I m having a terrible sore throat. It hurts to swallow, sneeze, cough. I cough up some phlegm but it s just clear and no color. It feels so raw and achey and nothing really helps. I ve taken Tylenol, hot soup, hot chocolate, water, lozenges. Nothing works. I m having a ton of gas whenever I drink or eat. I m debating on going to the ER but they probably won t do anything.

Hello,
For cough, take Bromhexine tablets/syrup 8 hourly. For sneezing, take tablet Levocetirizine 12 hourly.
Do gargles with lukewarm water with added salt, take steam inhalation. As you have no fever, no need to take antibiotics. It may take 4 to 5 days for complete cure.
