How Can Sore Throat Be Treated?

I had a cat scan with contrast on 8/21 and they gave me a card not to take Metformin again until 8/23. I completely forgot and kept on taking. Now I have a severe sore throats and went to the doctor. She gave me steroids but it still really hurts. I don t know what to do.

You can take a short course of antibiotics like Amoxclav for five days. Do warm saline gargles and take antihistamines like Levocetrezine for symptomatic relief. You can also take analgesics like Paracetamol for pain and fever.
