How Can Spinal Disc Herniation Be Treated?

I am 36 year old woman, recently i was daigonised for slip disc problem. It happend in Feb 2011 when i was holidaying in singapore. I was given streroid injection and it didnt work, so later doctor gave me local anestesia to that area. Until today, pain is there but much more less than before. But feels very uncomfortable.. any sujection
