How Can Spinal Stenosis And Numbness In The Left Leg Be Treated?
Hello Doctor...I am considering letting my pain management doctor put this Spinal Stimulator in my back. I saw another pain management doctor who works with my doctor..she said this only works for about 3-4 years. The reason it stops working is that the nerves or whatever wraps itself around the wires and the eletrical impulses can t get through, and It cannot be taken out once it s in. I have Spinal Stenosis, Arthritis up and down my spine, and Sciatica..with numbness in the left leg and pain in the right leg. I am totally confused about getting this procedure done. Can you help me?

She can try facet joint injection which will reduce the pain due to the arthritic spine. This will reduce some of the symptoms of spinal canal stenosis.
She can also try Buprenorphine skin patches for pain relief.
