How Can Staph Infection In The Bloodstream Be Treated?

I had a staph infection in my bloodstream that spread so that bacteria was on my lungs. I ve been hospitalized and relieving treatment through IV antibiotics for almost three weeks. The duration of antibiotic is prescribed for 4 weeks. CefaZolin ,,2g four bags a day. I ve long ago knocked the infection out but I have been told I must take the full course of antibiotics or risk return of infection. Extenuating circumstances requires me to leave treatment before my discharge date. This is also a life or death situation for me seperate from my illness. If I were to discontinue the antibiotic early what are the statistical chances of a reinfection with the bacteria- I plan on getting as close to a full course as I possibly can but I would like to know how close is considered close enough that I am safe to leave. dear user

we know that recurrent infection has some problems with immunity but we should deal with that....
i would like to tell you that stress and worry causes immunosuppression ..so the immune system is weak to fight infection...you may have atype of staph that is resistant to antibiotics.....althaugh CefaZolin is good for staph treatment.........but we prefer antibiotic sensetivity test ..and that test detect what antibiotic used for treatment to give best results...
you can discuss that with your doctor to use vancomycin or do antibiotic sensetivity test .....
misuse of antibiotics cause recurrent infection especially in stressed patient and this infection may cause more complications you can you can discuss with your doctor about that probability.....
you need not to worry and follow these simple steps and improvement will occur....
