How Can Stiff Neck And Pain In The Left Arm Be Treated?

Hi, I have had a stiff neck for the past month.(extremely painful) But for the past few days, the pain, compiled with numbness has been radiating to my left arm, and tonight the left side of my face. Could it be a pinched nerve or something more serious?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Yes, usually it will be a pinched nerve or nerve root irritation only. But which all nerves are compressed is little confusing for me. The face is supplied by the facial and trigeminal nerve. Neck area with posterior nerve roots and arm by brachial plexus. If you have multiple nerve compression then there should have been some pathology underlying. Kindly get an MRI spine and neck done to know this. If that is normal then vitamin B12 supplementations will help you heal irritation.
Hope this information helps you sort out your problems. If you feel it is helpful kindly give me user thanks vote.
Happy Health!
