How Can Strep Throat And Swollen Tonsils Be Treated?

I am in my third round of antibiotics for strep throat, while I am feeling better, my one tonsil is still swollen as well as my gland in my neck below it. My ears are ringing and I am obsessed with looking in my mouth waiting for my one tonsil to go down. My ENT said that my tonsils were the same size, however, to me the one is clearly larger. How long before my tonsil goes back to normal? It has been one month already and I am still on antibiotics for another 7 days. Also, I am 54 year old female .
