How Can Strep Throat Infection And Vomiting Be Treated?

Hello my granddaughter who is 8 years old has strep throat constantly and is going for surgery in a month. but no no antibiotics are working for her strep and she is constantly vomiting. she just had a steroid shot and that helped for two days only and i m really worried? she is going to her PCP tomorrow for blood work.

In case of streptococcal infection penicillin works. But it should be only after sensitivity test. As it has allergic reactions. If your daughter has recurrent tonsillitis then it is better to remove it. As recurrent throat infection may cause heart disease /rheumatic fever. Consult a ENT specialist.
