How Can Surgical Stitches After A Frenuloplasty Be Healed?

Hi, I had a frenuloplasty 8 days ago and I just had a couple of questions regarding my recovery. Firstly, I ve noticed that the stitches seem to be rather sporadically placed, poking out at strange angles. I m sure this is normal but just wanted to conform this is okay. Secondly, a couple of stitches at the top of the wound, on my actual penis head, fell out about 4/5 days after the operation, however my other stitches still remain. I just wanted to check that this is nothing to worry about. Thanks.

Hello,

The sutures placed after frenuloplasty, usually are absorbable sutures, and when the suture line heals, the sutures fall off. As per the history was given by you, it does not seem that there is an infection and the wound is healing well. Please don't be concerned about the sutures pocking out at different angles.

Please carry out the treatment advised to you by the doctor, and the wound will heal well and nice. You may like to be reviewed by the doctor once the sutures have fallen off and the wound has healed.
