Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
1 month ago I pushed a ear bud in my right ear due to which blood comes out.3 days back there was a sudden pain in my ear and after that my ear was swollen n I m unable to listen anything...I have visited to a doctor( not an ENT specialist) he said I had a fungal infection...what shall I do.plz suggest me
If the symptoms of pain and inability to listen started after putting ear bud in ear and it has led to bleeding then it can be probably due to perforation in the eardrum.
This can be due to deep penetration of the eardrum..
So my suggestion is to consult an ENT Physician and get evaluated and an otoscopic examination done..
If there is Infection along with perforation the first a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers can be advised along with antibiotic and analgesic ear drops..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
