How Can Swelling And Tremors In The Hands And Fingers Be Treated?
My wife had an auto immune reaction to cancer In february. She has tremors in her right (dominant) hand. Her right hand is swollen and she cannot use her fingers due to much pain. Could the uncontrolable movement in that hand cause carpal tunnel syndrome. If so, can we try wrapping the wrist restricting some movement and would heat or cold be appropriate?
Most chemotherapy drugs can cause tremors and can cause weakness in the muscles due to muscle or cell death.
Many people find drinking lots of water, taking a good amount of calories, eating fruits, and eating green leafy vegetables useful.
Carpal tunnel syndrome would usually present with pain and numbness but not with shaking usually. Using heat and cold may be useful to help with some of the symptoms.
In case the symptoms persist, seeing a doctor would be a good idea.
I hope this helps.
