How Can Swelling In The Ankle Due To An Injury Be Treated?

i had fallen of a bike which led to an abrasion which escalated to pus. and swelling. after few days of betadine i put my ankle in hot and cold water releasing the pus. but now there is a white soft membrane on my wound. i am currently applying medosprin and having antibiotics. i have a football match on the 9th, will my wound recover? atleast form a scar ?

Hi,

It could be a contusion only.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an X-ray.
Apply icepacks for faster recovery.
