Hello 4 days ago my middle finger and right pinky had a small pimple...or it looked like a pimple or ingrown hair...4 days later both fingers are swollen red and painful ...Can u help me...I have been taking Motrin for inflammation and applying ice for 15 minutes q 1 hr

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and it seems to be furuncle which is a bacterial infection of the hair follicle.

I would recommend you to take a course of an oral antibiotic like tablet Cephalexin and apply the Fusidic Acid cream on the affected areas.

For pain and swelling take anti-inflammatory medicines like tablet Ibuprofen.
