General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

We have to get an MRI scan first to assess the size and location of the lesion.

If it is small and located on the harmless places, no further treatment is required.

If the size is large we have to start antihelminth drugs like DEC and Albendazole.

In rare conditions where there are seizure attacks, surgery is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
