How Can Tendinitis Be Treated?

I have recently been diagnosed with an incomplete tear of the supraspinatus tendon measuring 0.5x0.4centimeters a well as diffuse tendinosis and prominent of fluid about the tendon of the long head of biceps Should I be trying to do not too much with the side ethis is on will it do more damage should I be concerned and would physio therapy be a wise thing to do in the meantime? I will be seeing a specialist probably in about4 months or so I think and really do not want to do more damage but my regular physician said it could not get any worse. and would alsolike to know stopping any regular fitness activities (mostly aquasize) would probably be the worst thing to do no?

Hello,

Kindly do some exercise or the regular ones which you were doing before because yours is a minor tear and heals on its own. Even that fluid thing will disappear in weeks if you do exercise regularly eat properly and be healthy.

Do not stop these activities at all or you might face some problems. You can take any painkillers for relief if necessary only.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
