How Can Terrible Itching And Dandruff Like Particles On The Scalp Be Treated?

My scalp has been itching for a year and i Thought that it was a combination of stress a normal dandruff. I tried oils which worked for a while but my scalp burned when I tried coconut oil. I have been using Vitamin E oil but the scalp has turned scaly and anytime i scratch it a lot of flakes fall out. I tried to stop itching but it is really hard. What do I do?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

Without rule out exact cause, no treatment taken by your own....

Localised dermatitis, dandruff (fungal infection) etc can be the possibility here

For fungal infection that is dandruff ketocanozole containing shampoo can be used....

If dandruff severe enough then oral fluconazole course also given and topical application of 2 drops of solution containing antifungal plus steroid can be advisable

Take care

Hope your concern solved

Consult dermatologist for examination and discuss my answer with him
