Hi,

For albumin/creatinine ratio, there should be quantitative result for albumin which says the value of it as mg/dl. Results say you have a little high creatinine level and have albumine in your urine which is not normal.

In this situation for best results 24-hour urine test with blood test for proteinuria, albuminuria and creatinine clearance should be done. If it is not possible for you to collect 24-hour urine, a spot urine test with proteine/creatinine and albumine/creatinine can be done. But 24-hour urine test is better.

A kidney ultrasound for kidney sizes and echopatterns is necessary. There are several reasons for mild creatinine elevation and proteinuria and most of them can be controlled with medicine or some of them just need follow up. It is best to see and comment after 24-hour urine test and kidney ultrasound.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hamza Eren Guzel,
